The crisis rocking the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) deepens as the former Governor of Bauchi State, Isa Yuguda, dumps PDP for a yet to be disclosed party.
The former governor, who spoke in Bauchi, explained that his decision to dump the party was caused by lack of leadership focus in the party. “PDP cannot bring development to Nigeria because they have lost focus” he said.
On the likely party he will defect to, Yuguda said that he was still consulting with his supporters and would make his decision known soon. “I will not force my supporters to leave PDP with me but they can make their own decision,” he said.
He prayed for the success of the President Muhammadu Buhari’s administration, saying the holy book admonished its followers to always pray for their leaders.
