Chelsea legend and former Côte d’Ivoire captain, Didier Drogba, has praised upcoming Nigerian striker, Victor Osimhen, describing him as a ‘great attacker’
Drogba made the comment during an interview with Marco Giordano, where he asserted that the tall Super Eagles striker will end up as one of the best strikers in the world overtime.
He also said the 23-year-old possesses great talent and that he enjoyed the way he plays football.

“I like him (Osimhen) a lot. Great striker.
“He can be the best in the world and when you have the talent like he’s got, I think it’s just a question of momentum,” Drogba said.
Osimhen after his exploits in Serie A last season has become one of the hottest players in Europe at the moment.
The Nigeria international has been linked with a summer move to Premier League clubs, Manchester United, Arsenal, and Newcastle United, while French giant, Paris Saint-Germain are also in the hunt.
The striker, who joined Napoli in 2020 has found the net a total of 24 times in 51 club appearances in all competitions for the Italian club, he has also been prolific for Nigeria, appearing 22 times and scoring 15 goals.
