Canadian rapper, singer and actor, Aubrey Drake Graham, known mononymously as Drake, has lost a $450,000 bet after UFC fighter, Israel Adesanya lost to Dricus du Plessis by choke submission.
In a highly charged main event at UFC 305, the South African fighter, Plessis, retained his middleweight title, defeating Adesanya in the fourth round.
Despite trailing 2-1 on the scorecards heading into the fourth round, Du Plessis turned the tide with a series of powerful hooks and jabs, followed by a decisive takedown.
Meanwhile, Drake had put money on Adesanya aka The Last Stylebender to reclaim his UFC middleweight belt in the main event.

The 37-year-old singer, who is notorious for losing sport bettings, would have won $850,000 had Adesanya won the fight.
Drake has prior to the latest bet backed fighters such as Alex Pereira, Nate Diaz, Leon Edwards, and even Francis Ngannou when he fought Anthony Joshua.
