Doyin Kukoyi denied the allegation, insisting that she is happily married with three children.

Nollywood actress and media personality, Doyin Kukoyi, has clarified rumours that she got married to fellow actor, Taiwo Hassan, popularly known as Ogogo, saying the innuendoes are not correct.
She addressed the misconception recently while featuring on the latest edition of Nollywood on Radio podcast.
In 2022, Kukoyi shared photos of herself and Ogogo in matching traditional attire on Instagram and captioned them with affectionate love emojis.
This led to widespread claims that the actress unveiled Ogogo as her husband and that she is now his third wife.
Reacting to the claims in the recent interview, Kukoyi explained that the trending pictures were merely a strategy to promote a film in which they both starred as a couple.

Discussing her personal life, she revealed that she is happily married with three children.
The actress explained that she was never offended by the misconception and even found it amusing.
She added that people still stop her on the street to ask, “How is your husband?” to which she cheerfully replies, “He is fine.”
“I realised that people would talk about the things you bring online. You don’t have control over people’s judgments about you because nobody will talk about you if you don’t bring your story to them.
“The first one, I was at a location with Sir Tee (Ogogo). We played the role of husband and wife. We took a picture, and I tagged it with my heart rob. And everyone still believes that I’m married to Ogogo. I did that to sell that movie. And I did not correct the misconception.” Kukoyi further said.
