Many would remember the late Abiola Peller, a professor of magic art and probably the greatest magician in Africa during his lifetime.
The Professor Peller Magical Show was a family favourite then, with the whole family helping Prof with one thing or another on stage. One would expect the children to want to carry on the legacy by practising magic, naturally.
Zito became a professional magician while Nike opted for Nollywood. But she called it quits last year to fully join Zito, and they have been performing at shows all over the country.
Abisoye, better known as Que Peller, chose music. “My childhood was full of adventure because I travelled from state to state with my parents. There was always good music on during any performance. So I think all those things played some roles in moulding me into a recording artiste because it is always music and magic show,” he explained.
The Aquila Records artiste had released two tracks, ‘Paparazzi’ and ‘Juru’, since 2009 when he decided to pursue a career in music which he described as his life and hustle.
However, what stands the Lead City University graduate of mass communication and media technology out is his style of performance on stage.
Having learnt a lot from Zito, Que gives his audience double dose of entertainment by dishing out good music and some magic on the side.
At a show, he conjured up a white bird with his rod from a white covered box held by one of his assistants on stage. Some members of the audience, who never heard of the Prof or seen magic, were thrilled and promised never to miss any of his subsequent shows.
