CEO of Mavin Records, Don Jazzy, has revealed he discovered two Nigerian music sensations, Ayra Starr and Rema on the Instagram

Founder and CEO of Mavin Records, Michael Collins Ajereh, better known as Don Jazzy, has emphasized the importance of social media to young and talented entertainers.
The audio engineer made the statement while speaking in an interview with ‘The Afrobeat Podcast’ recently.
Don Jazzy revealed in the chat that he discovered two Nigerian music talents, Ayra Starr and Rema, whose songs have gained recognition in Africa and across the globe on Instagram.
Ayra Starr’s ‘Bloody Samaritan’ has been trending across social media and remains one of the top 2021 songs, Rema on the other hand, is a fan delight while on the stage.

The versatile entertainer, praised his younger brother, D’prince, for his talent hunting skills.
He also urged young artists to take advantage of social media, being a great tool that can be used to promote their songs.
“There are different ways we discover artists at Mavin. First of all, D’prince has a mad skill to discover artists. I found Rema from Instagram, he has the talent of sieving through the noise and finds the artists that fit me.
” We also found Ayra Starr on Instagram so young artists need to know that it’s 2021 and social media is a great tool to promote their songs and career,” Don Jazzy said.
