Speaking during a recent Women in Management, Business, and Public Service (WIMBIZ) conference in London, DJ Cuppy expressed her thoughts about people who think failure is bad.

“They don’t always sell out arenas or bestselling books. Failure is inevitable. We will all have failure in our personal lives and in our professional lives.”

The entertainer further used herself as an example, “I can stand here and tell you how unpredictable my life has been despite being from a privileged background. Whether it is my failed jewelleryline which I started at 28 years old or going to the University of Oxford at 29 and almost failing class.

“To add the cherry on top, last year I got engaged but now I am no longer engaged but such is life. I know my story is still happening but there is more to come and I am okay with the uncertainty.”
