Popular Nigerian disc jockey, Florence Otedola, better known as DJ Cuppy, has said “marriage” is one of the most powerful contracts anyone can sign, adding that it is done with God as a witness.
She made the assertion on Thursday in a now trending post she shared on her official X handle.
According to the billionaire heiress, walking down the aisle is not just about having a partner, but a sacred covenant sealed in the presence of God.
Speaking via her verified social media page, DJ Cuppy wrote, “Call me old school, but I see marriage as the most powerful partnership in life. Maybe even the most important contract you will ever sign with God Himself as the witness.”
She went on to say the recent wedding ceremony between her younger sister, Temi Otedola and Afrobeats star, Oluwatosin Ajibade aka Mr Eazi, has further deepened her conviction about the institution.
“Seeing my baby sister Temi become Mrs Ajibade reminds me that marriage is far from outdated. With the right person, it pulls you closer to purpose and builds love, family, and legacy,” she added.

DJ Cuppy’s remarks come just after Temi released official wedding photos of herself and her husband, Mr Eazi.
The love bird consummated their union with three different ceremonies across three countries.
On May 9, they headed to Monaco in France to celebrate Mr Eazi’s late mother’s birthday.
Two months later, the pair held a traditional Yoruba wedding at the Otedola’s residence in Dubai.
The duo then crowned the festivities with a white wedding in Iceland in August.
