A former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole will this Friday, January 15 wed Aisha, the daughter of the Kebbi state governor, Atiku Bagudu.
Bankole, who has been divorced since 2017, will marry Aisha, a lawyer and graduate of the UK University of Hull.
A statement from the Bankole family of Iporo, Abeokuta disclosed that a quiet introduction between the two families had taken place a few weeks earlier to kick off the joining together, in line with Islamic and traditional injunctions.
