Diana King of the Shy Guy fame and an MTN ambassador will this month collaborate on a new single as part of plans to launch the Music+ app.
The name of the ambassador is still being kept secret, but the exclusive launch for the platform promises to be full of fun and excitement tantamount to the party of the year. Other MTN music ambassadors will be releasing new hits at the launch.
A-list artistes, top disc jockeys (DJs) in the industry and top media entertainment independent programme producers like Sound City, Hip TV and MTV Base as well as Beat FM will all be in attendance at the event that is strictly by invitation.
The month of July will be a happy one for the Nigerian entertainment industry as the Music+ app is launched.
MTN Nigeria is said to have put plans in place for the launch touted as the biggest thing to happen in the industry this year. The telecom company, our source said, is pulling all the stops on this one.
The converged music streaming and download platform is optimised for mobile and online access and is socially enabled to accommodate cross-user activity. The app is available for download in beta testing mode for now, and it is free. However, downloading a song attracts a fee.
Music+ is a round-the-clock exciting way of music streaming, music sharing, play-listing especially for Nigerian music. Users can streamline directly to their mobile devices, enjoy offline streaming as well for zero data needed. MTN has other apps like Afrinolly, Dobox, Karaoke Songstar and CRBT- MTN Callertune, and one can only wait with bated breath to see how this latest offering fares.
