The death toll from the explosion which rocked a gas store at Ladipo, Mushin, Lagos, is now five.
The explosion occurred at Ojekunle Street, Papa Ajao, close to the popular automobile spare parts market, Ladipo, in Lagos.
According to reports, the explosion took place at about 8 am on Tuesday, November 16
It was three until the recovery of the body of a 10-year-old boy and a female adult from the scene of the incident.

This was confirmed by the Acting Coordinator, National Emergency Management Agency NEMA, Lagos State Territorial District, Ibrahim Farinloye.
He said the female adult was recovered dead, while a 10-year-old died on the way to the hospital.
The female adult was identified as Mama Funmi.
It was learned that the LPG cylinders were being used for auto welding when the explosion occurred.
So far, three male adults, Mama Funmi and the boy have been recovered dead.
Confirming the incident, Farinloye said: “Altogether, five persons were recovered dead including a 10 years old boy.”
The Director, Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service, Margaret Adeseye had in an ‘Emergency Alert’ stated that those that died in the explosion were three males.
She wrote, “The Lagos State Fire and Rescue Service is currently attending to a Gas Explosion at 21, Ojekunle Street, Ladipo, Mushin Lagos.
“The Gas incident which was reported at 08:42 hours Tuesday morning via the State emergency reporting platform was swiftly responded to by a combination of the State first and secondary responders.
“On arrival at the scene, it was discovered that it is an open space used for several activities including a beer parlour, mechanic workshop, spare parts sale and gas shop amongst others while housing a makeshift structure.
“Three male adults had been recovered as rescue and recovery operations continue in an environment isolated from causing any further secondary incident.
Rescue operation was ongoing at press time.
