A digital news platform, DD News, has debuted in Lagos, promising to deliver refreshing and analytical content.
Dopamu Olaniyi, an acclaimed researcher with considerable experience in digital marketing, is the publisher of DD News. He says DD News would offer a lot more to the reading public.
Olaniyi comes into the digital news world with an extra experience. He is highly resourceful in content development, Netflix films production, activation, data, brand management and has carried out specific assignments for Google and government departments.
Like Olaniyi, DD News Editor-in-Chief, Ed Malik, also comes with a rich background in journalism, public relations, advertising and research.
A top-notch creative person, Ed Malik has worked on mass communication accounts in virtually all sectors, including as PR Officer in the Army.

Then comes the managing editor, Starrys Obazei who started his journalism career as a Production Sub-Editor in 1984 at Daily Times and later Sunday Times.
According his profile on the website of DD News, Obazei was noticed by Mayor Akinpelu in 1991, who took him to FAME Weekly to be the pioneer Production Editor. He also had stints at Hallmark Newspaper, Vanguard Newspapers and many others.
