Davido regrets, renounces philandering; says “I can’t have another wife”

Afrobeats singer Davido (born David Adeleke) has declared that he will no longer engage in philandering, saying his serial baby daddy experience and the situation of his two polygamous uncles have taught him that womanising comes with lots of problems.
Davido, a prominent figure in the Nigeria music industry, has been under public scrutiny for both his career achievements and several cheating scandals before and after he married Chioma Rowlands in 2024.
He has five children with four different women, one of them Sophia Momodu who he got pregnant before he married Chioma.
Davido went to court to claim custody of their child, Imade, but Sophia publicly dragged him that he is not fit to parent the kid because of his irresponsible lifestyle, including his womanising ways.
He recently gave up the custody fight when Sophia turned it dirty on social media.
Davido acknowledged during his recent appearance on the ‘Breakfast Club’ that cheating comes with a lot of problems.
“I said I’m not cheating again. I no dey cheat again. You no hear wetin I talk? I said I don’t want any wahala. Cheating comes with lots of problems. I have five kids with four women,” he said.
