Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke, better known as Davido, has finally deleted the short video of his signee, Logos Olori’s new single ‘Jaye Lo’ which he shared on social media recently.

The now-viral clip which captured the moment some people were praying and dancing in front of a mosque has attracted wide criticisms from many Nigerians, who claimed the video was offensive to Muslims.

Many of these netizens, which included popular human rights activist and politician, Shehu Sani and Nollywood actor, Ali Nuhu, also called on the singer to take down the video and tender an apology to Muslims for “disrespecting” Islam.

The ‘Electricity’ crooner, after initially ignoring the criticisms, seems to have bowed to pressure and deleted the controversial video from his official social media page, as a check on his verified Twitter handle @davido on Sunday revealed that the video is no longer on his page.

However, Davido is yet to apologise to Muslims as of the time of filling this report.

Meanwhile, the singer recently pledged to reward the honesty displayed by a staff of Eko Hotel and Suites, Kekwaaru Ngozi Mary, who found and returned the sum of $70,000 misplaced by a customer.
