Ace Afrobeats singer and record label owner, David Adeleke better known as Davido has stormed Qatar, ahead of his performance at the closing ceremony of the FIFA 2022 World Cup.
Davido was spotted in the oil-rich nation in company of Ghanaian Afropop, dancehall and reggae musician singer, Livingstone Etse Satekla a.k.a Stonebwoy and Black Stars assistant coach, George Boateng.
His performance at the concluding ceremony of the football tournament on Sunday will be Davido’s second public appearance after the tragic passing of his beloved son, Ifeanyi in October.

His first since going off the radar, was the swearing-in ceremony of his uncle, Ademola Adeleke, the executive governor of Osun State.
Davido was earlier scheduled to perform at the opening ceremony of the World Cup but could not make it due to the loss of his son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, who drowned inside his swimming pool.
The news of his performance at the ongoing World Cup competition was first made public by Hong Kong businessman, Stephen Hung, who shared his excitement about the development via a post on his Instagram story on Thursday, December 8.
Sharing a picture of the singer via his verified account, the business mogul wrote, “So happy my bro @davido confirmed he will perform at the World Cup Qatar closing ceremony. Can’t wait to see him there.”
