Davido announces white wedding with Chioma in Miami, insists he won’t marry another woman

Afrobeats musician David Adeleke (stage name Davido) has announced his third round of wedding ceremonies with Chioma Rowland, this time a white wedding in Miami, United States, after a traditional one was upstaged with a lavish CHIVIDO 2024 public event at Eko Hotels in Lagos in June last year.
Both the traditional affair and the public ceremony were held in Lagos – the traditional could not hold in Chioma’s family in Imo because of insecurity, and Lagos being the centre of gravity for the celebrity and social media fans of the couple.
“I’m doing my white wedding in Miami, in August this year,” Davido announced in his interview with Breakfast Club, during which he also expressed regret for his historical philanderings, renounced womanising, and vowed not to marry another wife.
The Miami gig, coming 14 months after the Lagos celebrations, will seal his promise not to marry another wife and again highlight and consolidate Chioma’s feminine influence and grip on a hitherto serial baby daddy who has five children from four different women.
