Brooklyn Beckham was left with tears streaming down his face as he took part in the viral ‘one chip challenge.’

Brooklyn Joseph Peltz Beckham (born 4 March 1999) is an English media personality, former model and photographer. He is the eldest son of former England footballer David Beckham and English singer-turned-fashion designer Victoria Beckham.

The budding chef, 23, got more than he bargained for as he filmed himself eating one of Paqui’s tortilla chips, which are covered in extremely hot seasoning.

The aim of the spicy challenge is to wait as long as possible before eating or drinking anything.

Brooklyn didn’t appear to adhere to this part of the challenge however as he had a glass of milk to hand while he was eating the chip.

Tears quickly started to stream down his face as he ate the chip which is made with the Carolina Reaper, the world’s hottest chili pepper.

There have been reports of people suffering with stomach pains after taking part in the challenge, with an ambulance recently called to a school in Minnesota after a group of students ate the chips.

Paqui warns not everyone should try the challenge, saying: ‘do not eat if you are sensitive to spicy foods, allergic to peppers, nightshades, or capsaicin, or are pregnant or have any medical conditions.’

The company also warns to keep the chips out of reach of children and to seek medical assistance if you experience nausea, fainting or difficulty breathing after eating.
