Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show host, Ifedayo Olarinde, popularly called Daddy Freeze, has criticized Gospel Singer, Yinka Alaseyori, for holding a prayer session at the collapsed Ikoyi building.
In a viral video making the rounds, it was alleged that Alaseyori went to the site of the collapsed building in Ikoyi in the company of others, to offer prayers for the repose of the souls of those who died in the unfortunate incident.

But the “Oni Duro Mi” singer, went on her Instagram page to correct the impression that she was at the venue of the event to pray for those who died.
According to her, the video was not a recent one and she was not at the place when the building collapsed, she also thanked those who showed concern about her safety.
“Please note that the video is not recent and I wasn’t there at the time of the unfortunate incident.
“I can’t reply to all the messages hence the need to make this post but I very well do appreciate your concerns.
“My heart is with everyone right now even if you don’t know anyone there, every life is important. As the rescue team continues to make an effort to save more lives, let’s pray along.” she posted
Responding to her post, Daddy Freeze, slammed the Gospel Singer, for her indiscretion, saying construction sites are not prayer venues.
He went on to chastise her for embarking on the prayers session without wearing any protective equipment, questioning if her prayers were truly answered.
Daddy Freeze wrote: “Should you be on the site of an uncompleted building praying, singing, and dancing with no safety hat, goggles, or shoes? Stop endangering your lives! Construction sites are not venues for prayers. With all the prayers did the building still not collapse?? God cannot be mocked.”
