Nigerian-Romanian broadcaster and radio talk show, Ifedayo Olarinde, better known as Daddy Freeze, has stated the reason he could not believe actor Emeka Ike’s estranged wife, Suzanne Emma’s account of their failed marriage.
TheNiche had earlier reported that Emma, in an interview with media personality Chude Jideonwo, alleged that the thespian subjected her to abuse throughout their 17-year marriage.
Speaking about a particular incident during the chat, she said: “There was a time we went to the hospital; my child was sick. We didn’t have money. And I was trying to negotiate with the hospital to treat the child, and we would pay later. It was taking a little bit of time, and he [Emeka Ike] just came in and started yelling at me, ‘You’re a fool. You don’t know how to do things. What’s all this? You can’t even talk to them. Who are they? They’re beneath you, and you’re allowing them to do this and all that.’
“And I got upset and said, ‘Sir, why are you being a jerk?’ And I went off into the car to sit down. Immediately he [Emeka Ike] was coming into the car; his punch was the first thing that I was seeing on my jaw.”

Prior to this, Emeka Ike had alleged his ex-wife made him lose his properties and has been denying him access to his kids.
Commenting on the recent debacle between the ex-couple, Daddy Freeze stated that he almost believed Emma’s side of the story until he remembered his personal experience with his first wife.
He said his ex-wife accused him of forcing her to sleep with his friends and beat her if she fails to do what he wants.
He said: “I almost believed her because she sounded like the gentle one. Oh, they used to do this to me ……, remember I am also coming from a divorce place, my ex wrote it inside court document that i used to bring my friends to sleep with her in the house, any day she does not agree, I go popo am with blow.
” So when a divorce case is going on, there is nothing each of the parties will not say to look good.”
