Authorities of the Nigerian Customs Service have reportedly canceled the August promotion examination taken by Superintendent of Customs seeking elevation to Chief Superintendent rank.

TheNiche reported that massive examination malpractices were recorded during the August promotion exams as high marks were obtained by officers that sat for the promotion exams in Northern Centres of Kaduna and Bauchi states.

To maintain the integrity of its promotion examination process, the Customs canceled the computer based test (CBT) examination conducted for officers of the rank of Superintendent of Customs who sat to be promoted to Chief Superintendent of Customs.
