Chelsea defender, Marc Cucurella has warned his teammates not to take Brazilian club, Fluminense lightly when both teams clash in the Club World Cup semi-final on Tuesday.
Chelsea qualified for the last four stages after beating another Brazilian outfit, Palmeiras in the quarter-final.
Speaking ahead of the game, Cucurella reminded Chelsea players (via The Independent) that Fluminense have a legend of football in the person of Thiago Silva.
He added that having watched Fluminense during the tournament, it is evident that they have very good and determined players in their squad.

The Spanish international said, “We have watched some of their games. They’ve very good players, they are very determined and they’ve Thiago Silva..
“He’s a legend of football, a top player. He’s only played for big clubs and texted me before the game [quarter-final] saying, ‘Let’s go, hopefully we can see you in a couple of days’.
“We’ve the opportunity to play against him again and hopefully we can do good things and win this game and play in the final which is what we want to do.”
Silva, 40, left Chelsea to join Fluminense in 2024.
