Cross River police commissioner is dead

The Cross River state commissioner of police, Jimoh Ibrahim is dead.

According to media reports, the police boss who is from Kwara state, died at the University of Calabar Teaching Hospital (UCTH), December 18 from pneumonia complications.  

Other reports said the Cross River police boss died from COVID-19 complications, although a source close to the deceased disputed the claim, insisting that it was pneumonia, according to a Vanguard report.
