Coronavirus claims seven more lives in Nigeria as confirmed cases jump to 8,068

Both the number of confirmed cases of Coronavirus and resultant fatalities are increasing by the day in Nigeria.

The country recorded 229 new cases of the virus on Monday, bringing the total number of confirmed infections to 8,068.

Data from the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), which made this known on Monday, showed that seven patients died of coronavirus-related complications, making the total number of COVID-19 fatalities rise to 233.
