Again, Nigeria, most populous country sub-Saharan Africa on Sunday recorded 313 new cases of COVID-19.
Lagos topped the list with 148 new infections, followed by the Federal Capital Territory (FCT) with 36 new cases.
The official figures released by the Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) shows that the total number of infections has increased to 7,839.
