Bovi said his foresight in buying land during the dry season, saved him from experiencing the floods current ravaging the Lekki axis of Lagos

Nigerian stand-up comedian and actor, Bovi Ugboma, has said his foresight when purchasing the land he built his house saved him from the recent predicament of most Lekki residents.
The comic actor also said had he not bought the land during the dry season, he would probably have been experiencing the flooding current ravaging that axis of Lagos State.
Bovi made this known via a short video he posted on his Twitter page, on Sunday. July 10.

In the clip, the 40-year-old showed the area where his house is located and wrote: “Permission to brag with my own part of Lekki! 365 days a year”
A netizen then asked the comedian on Twitter, “Na una first buy better land /house,”
Bovi responded saying, “We buy during the rainy season,”
The actor’s post is coming in the wake of the numerous floods experienced in Lagos during some of the recent torrential rainfall, wreaking havoc in most parts of the state.
A lot of people have been sacked from their homes, while many cars were trapped in flood as a result of the heavy downpours.
In Orile-Agege for instance, there were reports that a part of the area got submerged as commuters waded through buses knee-high in floods, two residents were also declared missing.
