The yearly Consolidated Management Consultant Limited (CMCL) Open Golf Championship comes to an end today at the IBB International Golf Course and Club, Abuja.

The professional golfers teed off this year’s championship, which is the 16th edition, on Tuesday and played till Friday. Amateurs, who started their play yesterday, round off today.
In a telephone chat one of the organisers of the championship informed TheNiche that today’s closing ceremony promises to be unique, as there are lot of events lined up for the day.
“As you know that the championship is organised to honour the chairman of CMCL Golf Tours Limited, Otunba Olusola Adekanola, we have put in place series of events to make this year’s closing ceremony a colourful one.
“We expect our invited guests to start arriving from 4pm when the amateur players would be returning from the course,” said our source.
Over 90 pros and 150 amateur golf players across the country participated in this year’s CMCL Open.
Other events lined up by CMCL for the year includes International Pairs billed for Lagos and Seedvest Open billed for Ibadan.
