Clouds of destiny
By Abraham E. Nwankwo
No matter how great your mind,
No matter how confident your heart,
A life agenda don’t rigidly fix.
For life a straight line cannot be,
But a varying basket of objectives,
Issues and circumstances is.
The optimal lines of action to take,
You must decide from time to time,
The clouds of destiny having read.
Some mysterious goal there may be,
To which an invisible hand pushes you,
The destination of which you cannot fix.
Though progressively to it you approach,
But too fast never do move,
Lest your life agenda be finished.
And the next goal worth seeking,
Strange enough only heaven would be;
And that behoves you to die.
