Grammy Award winner, Ciara, will this month lead her Nigerian counterparts to the third edition of Darey Art-Alade’s concert tagged Love Like a Movie.
Revealing that this year’s edition will take place on February 28, Darey, one of Nigeria’s top R&B stars, said acts like Sound Sultan, Omawumi, Yemi Alade, Iyanya, Styl Plus, Jazzman Olofin, Blackky and a host of others will perform at the event.
Two previous editions featured Kim Kardashian and Kelly Rowland in 2013 and 2014 respectively and the organisers said it “is set to break further grounds this year by completely re-inventing the concept of the R&B dance party with choreographed dance, a dynamic laser show, music, symphonic lights and high energy performances from top Nigerian and international performers”.
To take place at the Eko Convention Centre, Eko Hotels & Suites, Victoria Island, Lagos, Adekunle Gold, Zaina, Sammy, Olamide, Vector, Kaffy, Simi, Tolu, Styl Plus, Weird MC, Kenny Black and many more are also to feature.
The shift in general elections last year made it impossible for the show to hold, but Darey, who only late last year released another album, Naked, said on his Instagram page that the long wait was over.
“Love Like A Movie 3 is everything you’ve dreamed and more!” he added.
He further explained that the show is building new worlds and exploring some very interesting concepts, which beautiful experience he is looking forward to share with everyone.
