Chinwe had during an earlier conversation with fellow housemate, DJ Flo, claimed she sponsored her lover, Zion

Big Brother Naija (BBNaija) Season 9 housemate, Chinwe has denied an earlier claim that she sponsored her boyfriend, Zion, to the reality show.
The ‘No Loose Guard’ edition duo on Thursday fell out after Chinwe accused Zion of not supporting her during a fight with fellow housemates, Onyeka and Chizoba.
Speaking with another housemate, DJ Flo after the fight, she claimed she sponsored their entry for the show.
She also expressed regrets for coming to the show with Zion instead of her bestie, saying she wants to leave the Big Brother Naija house.

Chinwe said, “I am tired and frustrated, I should have come here with my bestie. Now I know we are not compatible, I’m done and sick of it. I feel betrayed. Immediately I go upstairs we will pack our bags and we go home.
“From the first audition video we shot, I put it on my head. I paid for all the expenses, I paid for the ticket that brought us here. All he did was to make himself available. And now we are here, he’s throwing me under the bus to please others.
“Zion needs this platform more than I do. How much is the money? I’ll make the BBN cash prize before December. We’re breaking up today.”
However, during the eviction show on Sunday night, BBNaija host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu enquired about Chinwe’s statement concerning sponsoring her boyfriend, Zion to the show.
“Why did you say you sponsored Zion to the house?” he asked.
Responding, Chinwe denied ever saying such, explaining that she simply meant she was the source of encouragement for Zion since he wasn’t excited about coming to Biggie’s house.
“I didn’t say so. I said I encouraged him” Chinwe replied.
