The 2016 Copa America final is set, and it’s a rematch from the group stage and of last year’s final. Chile got started quickly and beat Colombia 2-0 in Chicago, Illinois on Wednesday in a match that also featured a two-hour weather delay. It was another fine showing for the reigning champs after destroying Mexico in the quarterfinals on Saturday. Charles Aranguiz grabbed the opener for Chile on just 7 minutes before Jose Fuenzalida made it 2-0 just four minutes later to leave Colombia stunned early. Down 2-0, Colombia could do little on the night, relying on young striker, Roger Martinez, who didn’t take his chances. A red card for midfielder Carlos Sanchez 57 minutes gave ‘Los Cafateros’ the day.
