Chika Ike shuts down rumour linking Ned Nwoko to her pregnancy

Nollywood actress Chika Ike has strongly dismissed speculation connecting billionaire Ned Nwoko to her pregnancy, calling the claims “false and baseless.”
Rumour began circulating after Chika announced her pregnancy through maternity photos on social media. Speculation intensified when actress Regina Daniels, Nwoko’s wife, deactivated her Instagram account.
Addressing the rumour on Instagram on Tuesday, Chika expressed frustration over the relentless media scrutiny but emphasised that she previously ignored such false claims until now.

Firmly denying any connection between Nwoko and her unborn child, she stated, “Ned isn’t the Father of my child and whoever name you might come up with later with your guessing games and like I’ve said before I’m not about to be anyone’s 7th wife! Polygamy isn’t for me.”
She further stressed that her private life remains private and warned against baseless speculation.
“Keep digging and coming up with your false news. I don’t care about rumours because I understand it comes with my career choice and the only reason I’m responding to this rumour is because this is about my child. My privacy is my peace and NO ONE can unsettle me,” she wrote.
Chika concluded by reaffirming that her focus remains on embracing motherhood, regardless of rumour.
