Chika Ike orphaned

Chika Ike is bereaved of her mum. But that is not what those who love to talk about stars are talking about. They are saying that she has a penchant for going on social media to announce happenings in her life. It was the same story when her father died two years ago. Then she wrote: “RIP, my first love, I miss you. Words can’t explain how much it hurts. I will always love you, Dad.”
This time round, the moment she became aware that her mum was no more, she did the same, perhaps the only difference is that the piece for her mum is longer.
“RIP Mum, saying I am going to miss you is an understatement. I can’t still believe you are gone. I sit here wondering if I am in a dream and waiting for someone to pinch me. You thought me how to be strong; giving, loyal, compassionate and driven.
“You told me that there’s nothing impossible to do. You made me the woman I am today. I am most grateful to you. I will miss you greatly. I know you are watching over me and you will always live on. Love you mum.”
We mourn with her and pray that not only will she have the fortitude to bear the loss, but also the financial muscle to give the old lady a befitting burial.
