Nigerian chef, Damilola Adeparusi, popularly known as Chef Dammy, has denied claims that she wants to break Guinness World Record (GWR), for the largest pot of beans cooked.
She refuted the speculations on Wednesday in a now viral video she shared on her social media page.
Dammy was reacting to rumours that she is attempting to follow the footsteps of Hilda Baci, who broke the record for the largest pot of Nigeria jolof rice cooked a few days ago.
While making the clarification, the Ekiti born chef said she made the video because her fans have started asking if she truly wants to embark on the adventure.

She went on to congratulate her colleague, Hilda Baci for breaking another GWR record.
Speaking via her verified handle, the Dammy said, ”So, I am making this video because of those asking if I want to cook again? Some of my classmates are asking if I truly want to cook beans?’ Like, no! Why would I do that?
“I will like to say a very big congratulations to Miss Hilda for the just completed project of cooking biggest pot of jollof rice to feed thousands. Congratulations to Nigeria and to all the African countries.”
The popular chef became famous in 2023, following a controversial cook-a-thon attempt.
