CEE-HOPE feasts with hundreds of Lagos school kids, gifts them stationery to mark 10th anniversary

-

A children friendly non-governmental organization, CEE-HOPE, celebrated its 10th anniversary in a unique way.

CEE-HOPE, known for its work of protecting rights of vulnerable children and meeting their needs, held the event at Oke-Ira Primary School on January 15 where friends and well-wishers of the NGO socialized with the kids at their school premises.

The children, about a thousand of them, danced, enjoyed refreshment and went home with stationery. Amidst the excitement, they were also sensitized on keeping themselves safe from sexual predators and abusers.

It was a party-like event as the CEE-HOPE anniversary also coincided with the 91st birthday of one of its supporters, Mr Mal Jones.
