CBN responds to SERAP request on COVID-19 spending

Following the Freedom of Information (FoI) request by Socio Economic Rights and Accountability Project (SERAP) seeking spending details of COVID-19 donations, the CBN has said that the details would be released after auditing is completed.

The civil society organisations made the disclosure through its Twitter handle.

“The Private Sector CBN led COVID-19 account is being audited by KPMG. The information requested would be made available to SERAP on completion of the audit,” the tweet reads.
