English commentator and former Liverpool defender, Jamie Carragher, has advised Reds manager, Arne Slot, to drop Mohamed Salah for their next two matches, insisting that the Egyptian isn’t in form.
He gave the advice on Sunday evening while analysing Liverpool’s 2-1 defeat to Manchester United at Anfield on Sky Sports.
The Premier League loss was the Merseyside club’s fourth consecutive defeat in all competitions.
Slot’s men face Frankfurt in the Champions League in midweek before travelling to Brentford in the league.

Reacting to the narrow defeat, Carragher argued that Salah’s poor form was partly responsible for the loss.
He then urged Slot to bench the Egypt international for their games against Frankfurt and Brentford since they are away matches.
He, however, added that the Dutch tactician can allow Salah to start home fixtures at Anfield.
Speaking on the programme, Carragher said, “Liverpool have got two away games – in the Champions League at Frankfurt and then they go to Brentford. I don’t think Salah should start both of those games.
“He should always start at Anfield because Liverpool will be on top, around the edge of the box and more often than not he scores in those situations. But I do think in the away games and helping your full-back, I don’t think Salah should be starting every game right now, certainly away from home, with the form he’s in.”
