Carlo Ancelotti, the Italian gaffer of La Liga champions, Real Madrid, got emotional and fought back tears as Brazilian defender, Marcelo, said his goodbye during a press conference on Monday.
Marcel, who played in the left back position for the highly successful Spanish outfit, leaves the Bernabeu after spending 15 years at the club and winning 25 trophies.
The Brazilian, who joined the club from Fluminense in 2005 through tear-filled eyes, asserted that the Spanish club is the world’s greatest club.

As the 34-year-old kept talking, the room grew more emotional, and Marcelo became so moved that he said he wasn’t bidding the club “goodbye” because he feels like he is still a part of the club despite his departure.
He said, “This is not a goodbye because I feel I’m not leaving Real Madrid,”
The words from the defender did not do much in calming down the nerves of his manager, backroom staff, and other players, as the Italian manager was spotted fighting back tears.
