Canada is looking to absorb more than one million foreign workers between now and 2025 to take up jobs in all sectors as the country coasts through economic rejuvenation after the pandemic era.
Canada’s job vacancy report for the first quarter ended March 2022 (Q1 2022) shows more than 900,000 job vacancies in January 2022.

Need for foreign workers
The job vacancy rate in Canada was at an all-time high in the first quarter of 2022. While various jobs are in-demand across Canada, several have seen especially strong growth in recent years.
Canada’s labour force continues to be in a great position to welcome newcomers. With a current high job vacancy rate, there is a major demand for skilled workers to fill the available positions.
