Napoli striker, Victor Osimhen is likely to face La Liga club, Barcelona in Wednesday’s UEFA Champions League (UCL) last 16 clash.
Osimhen was left out of Napoli’s squad for last Saturday’s Serie A clash against Genoa.
The Nigeria international was not deemed fit enough to partake in the game after returning from the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) with a minor muscular problem and fatigued.

However, while providing update on the 27-year-old ahead of the UCL game, Napoli caretaker coach, Francesco Calzona, who was named as replacement for Walter Mazzarri recently revealed that the forward was involved in full training on Tuesday.
He said: “Osimhen trained with the team, naturally it was not a long session, as we had many things to do, but he was working at full tempo.”
Calzona added: “All the players will be evaluated after tomorrow’s session.”
Napoli will host the first leg of the competition at the Diego Armando Maradona Stadium on Wednesday.
In the other Round of 16 UCL encounter on the night, Arsenal are expected to travel to Portugal to take on FC Porto.
