Businessman signs N100m cheque for Tinubu’s nomination form

The director-general of the Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), Aminu Suleiman, has signed a N100 million cheque for former Lagos State Governor, Bola Tinubu, to purchase the presidential nomination form of the All Progressives Congress (APC). 

TheNiche had reported that the APC today pegged its presidential nomination and expression of interest forms at N100 million.

The nomination form will sell for N70 million while expression of interest forms will go for N30 million.

Many Nigerians have criticised the ruling party for staking it’s presidential ticket to the highest bidder, a move that could entrench further corruption into governance. 

According to The Nation Newspaper, Aminu Suleiman, who is the DG of Tinubu Support Organisation (TSO), is a businessman from Kebbi State.

The businessman announced via his twitter handle that he has already signed the N100m cheque for Tinubu. 

He said: “I, Hon. Aminu Suleiman (D.G TSO) will like to officially state that i have signed a Cheque to the tune of 100 million Naira, for the purchase of Nomination and Expression of interest form for our Leader @officialABAT God bless. #BAT2023.”
