Ace Afrobeats singer, Damini Ogulu, popularly known as Burna Boy, is seemingly finishing the year 2023 in style.

This is as the Grammy-winning Nigerian artiste was recently ranked No.1 on the Billboard Year-End U.S. Afrobeats Artists Chart, beating challenges from fierce rivals such as Wizkid and Davido in the process.

Burna Boy was followed by his compatriot, Rema, while Tems, Cameroonian diva, Libianca, and Wizkid were placed third, fourth and fifth, respectively.

Ayra Starr, CKay, Asake, Davido and Oxlade completed the top 10 in the list released on Tuesday evening via Billboard website.

Meanwhile, Nigerians also dominated other categories, as Rema’s ‘Calm Down’ remix featuring Selena Gomez topped the Billboard Year-End U.S. Afrobeats Songs chart, while Tems’ ‘Free Mind’ ranked number 3.

However, coming in between the two Nigerians was Libianca whose song ‘People’ ranked number 2.

Wizkid’s ‘Essence’ featuring Tems and Justin Bieber, and Burna Boy’s ‘Last Last’ complete the top 5.

Again, Rema’s ‘Calm Down’  finished No. 1 on Billboard’s 2023 Pop Airplay & Rhythmic Airplay year-end chart and No. 6 on the Hot 100 Year End 2023 chart.
