Fans of Nigeria’s multiple award winning musician, Burna Boy, has announced quitting twitter after being dragged for rude behaviour.
He had been receiving multiple attacks over his personal lifestyle.
Few hours ago, he rebuffed the attacks, saying it wouldn’t have any effect on him.
“If what Nigerian twitter said about me had any effect on me then I would be Dead by now. There’s even a Yoruba saying that translates: ‘He who says the truth won’t even find a mat to sleep on’. Well I’ve proved that to be WRONG. You Can’t take nothing from Me,” he had said.
But moment later, he decided to quit.
“This is my Last personal tweet Ever. Im just going to leave this app cuz apparently I’m too real for it. Everyone please use this COV-19 times to really find out what your true purpose in this world is, train your mind and Body to the fullest, get Closer to the Most high n ur Family,” he tweeted.
Fans of Burna Boy were surprised that he could quit the app because of some attacks, even when he has one of the biggest following in Nigeria – 2.9 million.
“Small dragging you are running. You are not going any where. It is like you have hot temper. They have not even dragged you very well, ” was one of the counsels he got when he announced quitting.
