Popular Afrobeats singer, songwriter and record producer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has said he has just two similarities with fellow Nigerian singer, Ayodeji Ibrahim Balogun, aka Wizkid.
Burma Boy made this known during a recent interview with American–Haitian hip hop disc jockey, DJ Whoo Kid, while denying claims that he is in competition with Wizkid.
The 31-year-old Grammy Awards winner, during the chat, also insisted there is no rivalry between him and Wizkid, saying they are two different artistes.

He went on to say even though they are from the same country and love each other, their songs are different.
He said: “No, we are not competing. We are on two different lanes in life, you know? And the only similarity really, is the fact that we are from the same country and we love each other.”
The ‘Last Last’ crooner further argued that they sing about different things, claiming that while Wizkid’s focus in music is all about women, he sings more about real life situations.
“That’s what brings us together. We are on two different lanes. Wizkid is about the bitches, I’m about real life and the bitches sometimes.” Burna Boy added.
