Ace Afrobeats singer, songwriter and record producer, Damini Ogulu, better known as Burna Boy, has claimed he is hated by his “inferiors” for having no “superiors.”
The Grammy-winning Nigerian singer made this known on his X handle, formerly Twitter on Saturday, while explaining why he is “hated” in the music industry.
Speaking via his social media page, he shared a photo of himself and tweeted: “Hated by my inferiors for having no superiors.”

Prior to this post, Burna Boy had repeatedly claimed that Nigerians hate him.
In ‘Thank You’, a track from his recent album, I Told Them, the ‘Last Last’ crooner insinuated that Nigerians don’t appreciate him enough despite making the country proud on the world stage every chance he gets.
He said instead of his fellow Nigerians appreciating his invaluable musical contributions to the nation, they spread rumours that his mother was one of the dancers of the late Afrobeat pioneer, Fela Kuti, and that impotency might be the reason he doesn’t have a baby mama like most of his colleagues.
