A new Executive Secretary for the Federal Government Staff Housing Loans Board (FGSHLB) has been announced. He is Ibrahim Mairiga, a former director of human resources at the Ministry of Petroleum.
According to Folasade Yemi-Esan, Head of the Civil Service of the Federation (HOCSF), President Muhammadu Buhari approved Maigari’s appointment with effect from July 1.
Olawunmi Ogunmosunle, the Director of Information, Office of the HOCSF on Friday, September 4, said in a statement that Maigari’s appointment is for a term of four years in the first instance.
The statement added that the Head of Service, Yemi-Esan, advised Mairiga to bring his wealth of experience and knowledge to bear on the task ahead.
Mairiga, who is from Gombe State, attended the University of Maiduguri and Bayero University, Kano where he obtained his first and master’s degrees.
