Buhari mourns chief imam of Islamic centre

President Muhammadu Buhari has expressed sadness over the death of the Chief Imam of Bin Affan Islamic Centre, Abduljalil Dabo.

In a statement by the senior special assistant to the president, Garba Shehu, the late Islamic leader was a rare leader, bold and courageous.

The president was represented at the funeral by Dr Isa Ali Ibrahim Pantami, the Minister of Communications and Digital Economy.  

”The people of the FCT have lost a teacher and guide, and Muslim in the country a leader bestowed with unique qualities and strength. We pray to Allah to reward his good deed, ” he said.
