Buhari appoints Buki Ponle NAN managing director

President Muhammadu Buhari has approved the appointment of Buki Ponle as managing director of the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

Ponle had served as managing editor/director of the News Agency of Nigeria before setting up his own online publication.

His appointment was among nine other agencies whom the president named their Chief Executive Officers. All the agencies are under the Federal Ministry of Information and Culture.
