How sad that many pastors and prophets of God have died prematurely because they left their dedication and became businessmen; thus grieving the Spirit of God. A great man of God, who backslid and left his calling, recently died while having sex with a prostitute. This great servant of God had become a businessman to the core, pursuing money rather than his calling.
I say once again that if your mother or father had vowed that you would serve God all your life, be assured that the altar will come after you and call you all your life. Once you are dedicated, heaven’s stamp is upon your life and you cannot run away. As Hannah’s dedication was binding on her, the same way dedications made on evil altars by parents may be looking for such children to imprison their destinies. Many go to the goddess of the sea, asking for children and they re-dedicate these children to the spirits of the water. This kind of evil dedication has resulted in spiritually-yoked marriages between ladies and spirit husbands or men with spirit wives. Marrying such individuals is courting trouble because the spirit will fight to keep their physical spouses. Courting such women or men may result in negative reactions and battles from the aggrieved spirit husbands or wives.
A young man married a lady who was dedicated to the marine world. Within 48 hours after he paid his wife’s bride price, he began to experience attacks from the spirit world. That night, he could not consummate the marriage. When he woke up, he found himself on the floor of the room few steps from the bed. That same night, what he thought was a nightmare was actually a fight. Within weeks, he was diagnosed with a terminal sickness. Then, he later died. Dating such covenanted people can result in setbacks, penury, severe hardship, loss of job, stagnation and premature death. The spirits they are dedicated to believe that those trying to marry their spouses are trespassers. This brings about provocations, which make them afflict the victims with all kinds of problems.
Finally, there are families where the first sons or daughters must be priests or priestesses to the family shrine. This priesthood remains in such families from generation to generation. Any attempt by such sons and daughters to do anything otherwise will be met with failures because these abandoned spirits, in their aggrieved state, will locate those who should maintain the shrines and inflict them with all kinds of plagues till they return to their dedications. If you fall into such demonic priesthood or lineage, what you should do is to cry out to God and go for proper deliverance. Then, you will be set free in Jesus name. When dedicated persons break their dedications, some of the consequences include:
• Lack of progress
• Hardship/setback
• Storms and increased turbulence
• Lack of direction
• Unending spinsterhood/bachelorhood. Prospective suitors are repelled by these forces. Courtships are attended with all manners of setbacks, stagnation and frustrations.
• Unending marital problems. When marriages are eventually contracted, there is barrenness, loss of sources of income, fights and divorce.
• Early widowhood. Men lose their lives marrying such women. Psalm 78 verse 63 says: “The fire consumed the young men: and their maidens were not given to marriages.”
• Premature death. Regular burials occur in such families. Untimely death is common.
How to neutralise punishments from aggrieved spirits?
Genuine repentance to God and deliverance through an anointed man of God can neutralise the effect of aggrieved spirits. Obadiah 1:17 says “Upon Mount Zion, there shall be deliverance…”
