Broda Shaggi won the award for best actor in a comedy Drama, Movie or TV Series category with his role in the movie ‘Inside Life.’

Popular Nollywood actor, Samuel Animashaun Perry, better known as Broda Shaggi has claimed he won a prize at the 2023 Africa Magic Viewers Choice (AMVCA) award because he is consistent and hard-working.
The comic actor was declared winner of the ‘Best Actor in a Comedy’ category in the event held at Eko Hotel in Lagos State.
He became the winner of the category with his role in the movie titled ‘Inside Life’.
Broda Shaggi had in April announced his nomination for the award via his Twitter handle.
He wrote: “Hello, how are you? I’ve been nominated again for AMVCA’s Best Actor in a Comedy. Two nominations in the category for my roles in SURVIVORS and INSIDE LIFE.”

Reacting to winning the award eventually, the comic actor took to his Facebook page on Sunday to express gratitude to God for the award.
According to him, winning the AMVCA award again after the 2022 edition was a product of hard work, stressing that hard work pays.
He wrote, “Winning this award is a reminder that Hard work, consistency dedication and perseverance pays off.
“Thank you Almighty God and to everyone who has supported me along the way. I’m beyond grateful and I owe it to you all.
“Special shout out to my ever supportive manager @Upanddownfellow.
“Here is to chasing even bigger dreams in the future!”
