A former member of the globally famous British boy band, “One Direction”, Liam Payne, has passed away at the age of 31.
The singer died after falling from the third floor of his hotel in Buenos Aires, Argentina.
According to local police, the Britton was staying at the CasaSur hotel in the Palermo district when the incident occurred.
In a statement issued by the Buenos Aires police, authorities confirmed that they were called to the hotel following reports of “an aggressive man who could be under the effects of drugs and alcohol.”

After the emergency responders arrived, they discovered Payne’s body in the hotel’s interior patio, where they pronounced him dead at the scene.
Payne, who rose to international fame as part of “One Direction“, was known for his work alongside bandmates Harry Styles, Zayn Malik, Niall Horan, and Louis Tomlinson.
The band became one of the best-selling musical acts of the 2010s before going on an indefinite hiatus in 2016.
